Talk about a hilarious concept. Inaugural running of the 2011 Santa Clause Shuffle in downtown Manchester, NH today. The first 1,000 people to sign up got a free Santa outfit to wear while running. It was pretty cool walking around the start area seeing all these people dressed up like Santa.
I got to act like Santa for a little girl back at the parking lot before the race too. The look in her eyes and the joy on her face was priceless. I wonder what she thought when she saw 1,000 Santas running up Elm Street.
This “race” was definitely not about speed today, tt was all about having fun. I couldn’t find Mia at the start, but at the turn around point she was coming the other direction, so I jumped back on the other side of the road and ran the rest of the race with her. We both had a blast!
Below is a video I took, not the best quality, but it gets the point across.
I ran this race too. So much fun!
