Mount Carrigain – Mia bags another Peak

on

Sunday July 17th

Mia and I headed up to the White Mountains for a hike up Mount Carrigain. This was for Mia’s 11th peak in the NH 4,000 Footers.  This is a pretty sweet hike with a nice mini-ridge walk just before you get to the peak.
The weather could not have been more perfect for July.  The forecast was for mostly sunshine with some puffy clouds.  Temps in Concord were going to be in the upper 80’s, I figure the peak had to be in the low 70’s with a nice breeze.

It was a beautiful day for a hike with my beautiful wife.  We had about 15 minutes of peace and quiet at the top before a group of 7 interrupted the silence we were sharing.
