Bishop Brady Galloping Gobbler 2012

Every year Bishop Brady High School holds a Thanksgiving Day 4 miler.  It’s hard for me to turn down this race.  It starts early @ 9AM so you can go race and get home, and it is only like 3 miles from my house, so that makes it kind of a no brainer.

Burdick Chocolate Annual Pilgrimage

Mia and I try to make it out to Walpole, NH and hit up Burdick Chocolate at least once a year.  This year it also happened to be my birthday weekend.  So instead of just going for coffee and dessert we made reservations for their Sunday brunch.

West End Farm Trail

There is a new connector trail system in Concord.  It’s called the West End Farm Trail.  Saturday November 3rd was the official kick off of the trail system, but I missed that event while running the Jack London 10K in Nashua.  So Mia and I hiked it on Sunday instead.

Sue Ann Martin 5K

Today Mia and I participated in the 3rd Annual Sue Ann Martin 5k.  Sue Ann’s husband Tom was my boss at one point when he was the state comptroller.  Sue Ann tragically died in 2010.  It was a total shock and completely unexpected.  Here is a woman who ran daily and was in great shape. …
